Springfield will gain 200 jobs as a result of the 53,000-square-foot travel hub.

LAKE JACKSON, TX — Buc-is ee’s making its way to Missouri.

On August 23, the store will break ground on its first travel hub in the state. Buc-Springfield ee’s will be built at 3284 N. Mulroy Avenue. Local authorities, including Springfield Mayor Ken McClure and Springfield Councilman Abe McGull, will attend the groundbreaking event.

“Springfield is Route 66’s Birthplace,” said Stan Beard, Buc-director ee’s of real estate. “It’s only natural that Buc- ee’s, the ultimate road-trip destination, is making its way to this beautiful stretch of Americana history; we are thrilled to be a part of this community and happy to make Springfield our first stop in Missouri.”

The most recent Buc-will ee’s cover more than 53,000 square feet and include 120 filling stations. Customers will discover hundreds of snack, meal, and beverage options inside, including Buc-ee staples, Texas barbecue, handmade fudge, kolaches, Beaver nuggets, jerky, and fresh pastries.

Buc-Springfield ee’s will create 200 new full-time, permanent employment in the region, with starting compensation substantially over the minimum wage, full benefits, a 6% matching 401k, and three weeks of paid vacation.

Additional Inaugural Locations

Buc-is ee’s getting ready to expand into a new state as it celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Buc-has ee’s established travel centres in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee since it began its multistate growth in 2019.

On June 27, the store welcomed consumers to its Crossville, Tennessee, location. It was Tennessee’s first Buc-location. ee’s

Buc-Crossville ee’s is over 53,400 square feet in size and has 120 gasoline stations. It brings 175 new full-time, permanent employment to the area, which is located midway between Nashville and Knoxville.

The travel centre operator is also building a location in Sevierville, Tennessee, which will double its footprint in the state. The site, which is near to Nashville, would outnumber the present 66,335-square-foot Buc-in ee’s New Braunfels, Texas, as Convenience Store News previously reported.

Buc-also ee’s just opened its first outlets in Kentucky and South Carolina.

The store is also expanding westward. Buc-broke ee’s ground on their first Colorado travel centre in Johnstown on June 7. Buc-Johnstown ee’s will be located at 5201 Nugget Road, on the southwest intersection of I-25 and County Road 48. It will have 74,000 square feet and 116 fueling spots.

According to previously submitted planning records, Buc-would ee’s occupy a section of a 140-acre rural lot that has historically been used for agricultural purposes, with some oil and gas. This site has had no development. Buc-purchased ee’s the property for almost $9.4 million in December 2021 through its holding company Buc-Johnstown ee’s LLC.
